Why come by bike?
We offer self-guided cycling routes, providing local knowledge and maps via gps , linking refreshment stops and other places of interest in Mumbles, Gower and South Wales and highlight the beauty of the area.
We would also like to encourage particularly female, ethnic minority and underprivileged children to experience cycle tourism in Swansea.
Cycle tourism is an environmentally sustainable form of tourism with minimal impact on the environment and host communities. VCM actively supports the 'modal shift' to active travel - public transport, walking and particularly cycling
Choosing to travel by bike has many benfits including reducing air and noise pollution, making people more active and healthier, easing traffic congestion, and many other environmental benefits
